- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I recently purchased two gerbera collections mailed to me.
I opened the parcel immediately on receipt and noticed that each crown had a slimy feel about it.
I planted them immediately in a garden especially prepared for them but disappointingly I will be fortunate if four survive. The other six just rotted away.
I have been gardening for sixty years and I am familiar with planting these types so I feel cheated to lose so many especially considering that I am an aged pensioner and cannot afford such a loss financially.
I will be reporting this problem on Facebook to warn others of this poor result.By D. Greenaway, June 17, 2019
