  have dealt with this firm for some years with a variety of family cars including a large 4wd. Service and cost has been good up until Feb 2013. Now seems that this firm is charging more and more and has lost its good value tag. No longer the family garage they started out as but now charging far too much for every thing. Much of the extra work said to be vital is in fact unnecessary. Recent ( Aug 2013) comparisons with other local mechanics highlight the fact that this firm is now some 40% to 50% higher and much of whats done is said by other firms to be overkill and not needed
